Overview
Use this article to add new photos to a listing that's already live on a marketplace, remove ones you don't want, and push that change out to your marketplace -including rescanning the listing if the new images affect its details.
What you'll do:

Before you start
You'll need an item that's already been assigned a Merchandising Strategy and published, so it's live on at least one marketplace. A Merchandising Strategy is the strategy and steps Listing Monster runs for an item over time once it's published.
Open the item you want to manage.
Click into its marketplace tab - eBay, in this example.
Add or remove an image
You can add a new photo or remove an existing one directly from the item's marketplace tab, alongside its other listing details. This works the same way whether you're adding extra detail shots or taking down a photo you're not happy with.
On the item's marketplace tab (eBay, in this example), find the image gallery on the right side of the page.
To add a photo, click Add images and select the photo you want to upload.
To remove a photo, hover over it and click the š (bin) icon.
Click Save.
If the photo you added or removed doesn't change anything else about the listing, this is all you need - skip ahead to Push your image change live below. If it does, rescan the listing instead, as covered next.
Push your image change live
Whether you saved a straightforward image change or rescanned the listing, it won't reach your marketplace on its own ā you need one more step from the item's Merchandising Strategy tab to push it out.
Click into the item's Merchandising Strategy tab.
Click the ā® (three dots) icon in the top right.
Click Re-run Current Steps.
Re-run Current Steps pushes your change out to your marketplace while keeping the item's current Merchandising Strategy.
Rescan the listing when a new image changes its details
If a photo you've just added shows something that should also update the listing itself - for example, a detail, condition, or feature that isn't already reflected in the listing - rescan the listing rather than leaving it as a plain save. This lets Listing Monster update the listing to match what the new image shows.
Click the ā® (three dots) icon in the top right of the item's marketplace tab.
Click Rescan listing.
Click Save
The click Re-run Current Steps.
Expected result
ā Your updated images are pushed out to your marketplace ā with the rest of the listing updated to match if you rescanned it ā and the item's Merchandising Strategy carries on running as before. You can come back to add or remove more images at any time using the same steps.
š” Tips and best practice
Always follow up a save or rescan with Re-run Current Steps ā adding or removing images on their own doesn't reach your marketplace until you do.
Only rescan the listing when a new photo reveals something that should change the listing itself ā a plain extra angle or a removed photo just needs a save.
If you're changing several things about the listing at once ā new images and an updated description, for example ā make all your edits before you save or rescan, rather than repeating the process for each change.
After pushing your change live, check the listing on your marketplace to confirm your new images, or the ones you removed, have come through.
