Why use Merchandising Monster?

Merchandising Monster helps you automate key listing actions after an item goes live to boost sell-through and save manual work.

With this feature, you can:

  1. Relist unsold items

  2. Reprice listings over time to find the right market price

  3. Refresh stale listings to improve search rankings

  4. Switch formats to access different buyer pools (e.g., eBay Auction ↔ Buy It Now)

  5. Auto-delist sold items across multiple marketplaces to prevent overselling

How to use Merchandising Monster?

1. Assigning a Merchandising Strategy

Before you begin, ensure your listing is created and quality-checked (QC).

Once your listing is ready:

  1. Open the item QC page.

  2. Click Assign beside the Merchandising Strategy section.

  3. Choose the appropriate strategy from the dropdown.

  4. Enter any required inputs (e.g. Start Price).

  5. Review the preview of your steps.

  6. Click Save.

These steps link your merchandising strategy with the listing.

2. Publishing Your Listing

Once the strategy is assigned --> Approve the listing to publish it.

If the publish fails due to errors (e.g., missing required fields), the status will show Export Failed. To fix this issue:

  1. Review the error message on the QC page.

  2. Edit your listing to correct the source of the error.

  3. Click Save, then Rerun Steps to retry publishing.

If you’re unsure how to resolve an error, contact the Listing Monster support team via in-app chat.

3. Managing a live listing

Once your item is live, you can manage it directly from the Merchandising Strategy tab on the QC page:

Actions You Can Take

  • Re-run steps: Sync any listing edits from Listing Monster to the live marketplace.

  • Re-assign strategy: Choose a different strategy if the current one isn’t performing.

  • Edit: Adjust prices or steps within the current strategy.

  • End: Delist the item from all marketplaces and stop further merchandising actions.

Note: Any edits made within Listing Monster after the item is live will not sync automatically to the marketplace — you must click Re-run steps to update the live listing.
